On the 30th August 2014 at Gerringong Town Hall there will be the much awaited return of the best fun night in town – ‘Gerringong’s Wave of Relief’, a fundraising Music Trivia Night to raise funds for Surf Aid International.
Surf Aid International support island communities who are devasted with natural disasters and are then faced with poverty and malnutrition. The lives of many people in these villages is a struggle against hardship and disease and requires ongoing support. Since the 2004 tsunami, the Gerringong/Gerroa community has supported the Surf Aid charity in providing on-going financial support for the people of the Mentawai Islands of West Sumatra in Indonesia.
It has now been 10 years since the first event and it is a growing charity event in the Gerringong/Gerroa community.
Gerringong’s Wave of Relief will be held at the Gerringong Town Hall and is always a fun night for all! Ray White Gerringong is proud to sponsor this event and support from other businesses and the local community will be greatly appreciated. It is a fantastic opportunity when one coastal community can help another coastal community in need.
Claim the date and book a table – tables of 10 are $300. All tickets will be on sale on Tuesday 5th August from Cronin’s Bottle Shop from 9am. If you would like to make a sponsorship donation or arrange tickets for Gerringong’s Wave of Relief, please contact Bruce Wallace on 0412 428 850.
