A Little Ray of Giving – Success!

By Elke Blake

Ray White Gerringong and the Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise are very proud to announce the success of this years’ ‘A little Ray of giving’ Christmas giving tree drive. Over 80 presents were collected from the local community to be donated to local children and families in need this Christmas season. The fabulous gifts collected ranged from teddy bears to cricket sets, even a family pass to Taronga Zoo! The majority of the gifts were delivered to St Vincent De Paul in Unanderra where the gifts are distributed to a list of local struggling families, and the remaining gifts were donated to St Vincent De Paul Kiama.

Ray White Gerringong and the Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise were astonished by the generosity from the Gerringong / Gerroa community, and are very grateful for everyone who made a contribution this year.

“It was great to see the involvement from the community and it really showed just how a community like Gerringong can make such a big difference to many less fortunate families at Christmas time. We can often lose sight of what Christmas is about and can take the little things for granted. A Little Ray of Giving is the perfect opportunity for us to give something back to the community.” said Neil Campbell from Ray White Gerringong.

A big thank you goes out to everyone that donated a gift this year, and next year’s ‘Little Ray of Giving’ drive will be sure to be bigger and better!
