'Having lived here for 26 years we now qualify to play for the 'blow ins' against 'the settlers in the annual cricket match. Can't field or bowl anymore, so I'm forced to travel 5 minutes to the Bowlo for Bowls or Golf. It isn't far and I can get the beer, coffee, the newspaper in town and the groceries at 'Freddo's' which is the same stop, just about.
Sometimes it's not about the Pub or the Club. Sometimes it's about watching the cricket, the croquet, the tennis, the touch, the league or the soccer and it's all 5 minutes away from home.
Of course if you want to go to the big smoke, Kiama is only 10 minutes away.
We've had a good, good time here. Bought up 4 kids and enjoyed it. Bringing up poddy calves, inseminating the cattle, growing oats a foot high in a week and feeding them to the calves and growing pumpkins and hydro lettuce and vegetables.
The garden has a relaxing rainforest in it and we have an Elk ferm about 2m x 4m that we rescued in with a few Zygo's.
Just for the record, I like to practice my golf long fame and chippping in the front yard where a bunker also sharpens the touch before play, time permitting.
Painting and pottery have also been given loads of attention over the years, and there is plenty of room for these hobbies and more in the house or the sheds about the place.
The kids have gone and we are off to join one of our boats off the place in Queensland, and so the place is for sale.
It is a great place to bring up a family and enjoy yourself. It lacks very little and Neil Campbell can fill in the details for you.'

PS There is talk of fish in the creek
